To prepare the plinths for the application without using ceiling angels you need corner-box and hack-saw. The application of the plinths should be carried out on prepared surface. The surfaces of the walls and ceiling must be clean and dry. To reach better results the surfaces can be plastered or primed. Start the application from the angle of the room, witch is situated in front of the exit. To make the accurate angle use the corner-box and cut the plinths with angle of 45 gr. To prepare the right part of the plinth put the plinth with its inside surface on the bottom of the corner-bar (1).

Clean the butts of the plinth with sandpaper for better join (3). Put the glue on the inside surface of one part of the plinth ( the surface with the deepening’s) (4). Wait some minutes and stick it to the wall (5). We recommend to use PVA or acrylic glue for sticking ceiling plinths. Put the glue by the same way on the butts and inside surface of the second part of the plinth (6). Stick it to the wall (7).When we have decorated the rest of the room the plinths are ready for filling and painting (8). You can make original design of the ceiling combining ceiling plinth with moldings (9).

To prepare the plinths for the painting you should spackle the joints between the plinth and the ceiling / wall and joints between the parts of the plinths. We recommend to use acrylic spackling for this purpose. Such spacklings will decorate the crooks and joints and help to avoid the appearance of the crooks in future. Put the spackling on the joints of the plinths (1). Treat the crooks in the places of joint between the plinth and the ceiling in the same way (2). Put away the surplus of the spackling with the rubber spattle. This makes ideal joints and doesn't hurt the plinths (3). If you don't have the rubber spattle, put away the surplus spackling by hand wearing wet rubber glove.

Use the wet sponge to clean the surface of plinths finally (4). If there are crooks in the places of joints treat them with small-sized sandpaper (5). Stick painter's scotch to avoid getting the paint on the wall (6) For painting of ceiling plinths we recommend to use water-dispersion, acrylic-based or latex-based paints (7). Chose the color of paint according to your taste and future design. Classic white color is usually used both for the decoration of the ceiling and plinths to make the surface of the ceiling and the plinths integral (9).

Using ceiling angles make application works much easier. Use corner bars PLINTEX, which are produced to each model of the plinth. Put the glue on inside surface (the surface with deepening’s), wait a minute and stick the corner bar to the wall (1). We recommend to use PVA or acrylic substances. Put the glue on the butts of the plinths, which are joint with the corner-bar (2,3). Decorate the rest of the room in the same way. Put the filling on the butts of the plinths and corner-bars and on inside surfaces of the plinths (4). Put away the rest of the filling with the rub palette knife.

If you don't have palette knife, put it away with wet hand (5). Then use wet sponge for finishing works to clean the places of joint (6). If there are crooks in the places of joint treat them with small size sand-paper. Stick painter's scotch to avoid getting the paint on the wall (7). We recommend painting ceiling plinths PLINTEX® with water-dispersion, acrylic or latex paints (8). Chose the color of paint according to your taste and future design. Classic style is usually decorated with white color both for ceiling and plinths.

There are 2 ways of decoration of the walls: painting(1) or decorating with the wall-papers. Use moldings to make original decoration of the walls before painting: as frames (2) or as additional element to the ceiling plinth (3). Stick the wall-papers according to the recommendations of the producer.

Pay attention when sticking that the wall-papers lay tightly to the plinth and the top of wall-paper should run over the plinth (5). Cut the rest of wall-paper with the knife using pallet knife (6).Thus we get ideal joint of plinth and wall-paper (7). Additional decoration of the walls (8) and ceiling with moldings is also possible (9).
